SafeHaven Pest Control is dedicated to protecting any personal information you provide to us. We believe it's important for you to understand how we handle the information we may collect from this website.
Information Collected
In general, you can visit this website without giving us your personal details or revealing anything about yourself. Our web servers record the domain names of visitors, not their email addresses. Like many websites, our servers also attempt to place a small data file called a "cookie" on your computer’s hard drive. This cookie helps the server recognize your computer when you visit again, allowing us to gather statistical information about navigation within specific areas of our site and across other sites’ promotions. This cookie does not collect your name or any personal information. The data we track is used solely for internal purposes, such as improving website navigation and assessing the success of our advertising efforts. We do not share this information with anyone except our SafeHaven Pest Control affiliates and contractors who help us with these activities and are obligated to keep your data confidential. However, if you’d rather not accept cookies, you can set your browser to reject them or alert you before one is stored.
Additionally, some parts of this website may require us to collect personal information from you for specific purposes, such as providing the information you request. The details we may collect include your name, address, phone number, fax number, or e-mail address.
We use third-party technology to place ads on other websites. This technology will install a small “cookie” file on your computer when you view our ad. These cookies do not contain any information that personally identifies you (such as your name or email address), but they do contain a randomly generated number unique to your browser. This number can be recognized by a “Web beacon” (transparent GIF file) on our site if you click through to us from one of our ads. This helps us track the number of unique visitors and where they entered from, so we can measure the effectiveness of our ads and placements. The privacy policies of the websites where we advertise, and through which the cookies are installed, should inform you about the cookies. You can also set your browser to reject cookies. To learn more about the third-party ad-serving technology we use, cookies, and how to “opt-out,” please email info@safehavenpest.com.
This website is not intended for individuals under 13 years old. We do not knowingly seek or collect personal information from or about children, and we do not knowingly market our marine electrical equipment or services to children.
Use of Collected Information
By submitting a request form on any of the SafeHaven Pest Control websites or online offers, I authorize SafeHaven Pest Control or their affiliates to contact me by phone, text, or email regarding this offer and any future offers. The domain name information we collect is not used to identify you personally; instead, it is aggregated to measure visits, average time on the site, pages viewed, and similar metrics. We use this data to monitor site usage and improve our content.
When we collect other information from you, such as your name and email address, we typically inform you how we will use this personal information at the time of collection. Usually, we use the personal information you provide only to respond to your inquiry or to process your request, such as receiving information about our services. This information may be shared with other SafeHaven Pest Control businesses only if necessary to fulfill your request or for related purposes.
We may share the personal information you provide with other companies or affiliates. These entities are contractually bound to use the shared personal information solely to perform the services we hire them for. We do not share, sell, or lease your personal information to outside third parties for their marketing purposes. We will disclose your information if you direct us to do so, if required by law, or in other legally permitted circumstances (for example, to protect your account from fraud).
If you register with one of SafeHaven Pest Control’s business units online, they may use this information to provide you with tailored information about their services in support of your needs. They may also place a “cookie” (small data file) as discussed above to offer personalized content. Please review the privacy policy on that SafeHaven Pest Control website for more details about that company’s privacy practices.
Phone Call Information
If you call a phone number listed on our website, we may collect Personal Information from you, including your name and phone number, through caller ID and reverse call technology. We may also record the phone call. We record calls to monitor the performance of our advertisements and for quality assurance. We do not record calls to collect your Personal Information. If we record a call, we will notify you before the call begins. Besides SafeHaven Pest Control, only the telephone service provider and SafeHaven Pest Control contractors and affiliates who assist with this process and are bound by confidentiality have access to the recordings.
By providing my contact information and phone number, I expressly authorize SafeHaven Pest Control or their affiliates to contact me at the phone number and email address I have provided, even if I previously requested to be added to any Do-Not-Call or anti-spam list, including those maintained by SafeHaven Pest Control, their affiliates, or any local, state, or federal agency. I also understand that by submitting this request, SafeHaven Pest Control or its affiliates have my permission to contact me via phone and/or email.
Links to Other Sites
SafeHaven Pest Control’s website may contain links to other sites. While we try to link only to sites that share our high standards and respect for privacy, we are not responsible for the content, security, or privacy practices employed by other sites.
Security of Collected Information
We use strict physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized or improper access. We limit access to your information to only those SafeHaven Pest Control employees who need it to respond to your inquiry or request. Employees who misuse personal information face disciplinary action.
Creation, Migration, and Use of User Lists
SafeHaven Pest Control must have all rights necessary to create or otherwise obtain User Lists, migrate User Lists to, and use User Lists on the Google Display Network. Google will not allow another advertiser to use your User List without your consent.
Selection and Targeting Restrictions
SafeHaven Pest Control may not use User Lists to select or target advertisements (i) based on users' past or current activity on adult, gambling, government agency, or children's sites under the age of 13, or (ii) based on other inferred or actual sensitive information, including but not limited to health or medical history, financial status, racial or ethnic origins, religious beliefs or similar beliefs, alleged or suspected involvement in crimes, political opinions, trade union membership, or sexual orientation or behavior.
Notice Requirement
SafeHaven Pest Control’s posted privacy policy should include information about Google, the User Cookie, and an appropriate description of your use of remarketing in online advertising. The remarketing description must be included in the privacy policies of all sites that include the remarketing tag or otherwise gather information for remarketing.
PII Restrictions
SafeHaven Pest Control may not, for the purpose of serving Ads, directly associate and store personally identifiable information (“PII”) with the User Cookie without robust notice of, and the User’s prior affirmative (i.e., “opt-in”) consent.
Advertising Cookies Policy
SafeHaven Pest Control’s use of the User Cookie via a User List complies with this Interest-Based Advertising Policy and the Google Advertising Cookies Policy. Google’s use of User Lists also follows this Interest-Based Advertising Policy and the Google Advertising Cookies Policy.
DoubleClick Boomerang and User List Services
SafeHaven Pest Control may not use a User List created through DoubleClick’s Boomerang or User List services on the Web Properties unless the sites where those User Cookies were collected (i) properly disclose the data collection and usage as required by this Interest Based Advertising Policy and (ii) meet the privacy and notice requirements outlined in this Interest-Based Advertising Policy.
User List Transparency
SafeHaven Pest Control grants Google the right, if Google chooses, to display to any User on SafeHaven Pest Control’s User Lists that the User is on at least one of those lists, along with displaying SafeHaven Pest Control’s domain or display name.
In Ads Notice Labeling
Google may also, if Google chooses or if the Customer requests, label advertisements served based on User Lists with notices or overlays that inform Users that the ads are based on User Lists. SafeHaven Pest Control may not modify or obscure these labels.
Conflicts
If SafeHaven Pest Control uses third-party ad serving to deliver interest-based advertisements, it must comply with both the Third-Party Ad Serving Policy and this interest-based advertising policy. If there is any conflict between these policies, SafeHaven Pest Control must follow the version of the conflicting provision in this interest-based advertising policy.
